Ziwig R&D is a state-of-the-art laboratory specializing in molecular biology and next-generation sequencing (NGS), with a focus on transcriptomics.
We are pushing back the boundaries of genomics to deliver concrete advances in precision medicine.
Located within the Institut du Cerveau at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris (France), we are exploring extraction, purification, amplification and sequencing techniques to maximise the recovery and analysis of biomaterials from various types of samples, in order to exploit the maximum amount of information for research and diagnosis with the help of artificial intelligence.
An innovative, automated and integrated
production line
One of our greatest advances has been the creation of a salivary RNA analysis chain, now operated by Ziwig Lab. This fully robotised system was developed in partnership with Revvity and Illumina.
The only one of its kind in the world, it can analyse up to 4,500 tests a week, with the capacity to scale up rapidly as needs change. His scalable, reproducible technology is at the forefront of innovation, representing a true revolution in RNA sequencing.
