At Ziwig, we recognise that climate change represents a significant global challenge for societies and healthcare systems. As a scientific company committed to biomedical innovation, we conduct our activities with consideration for their environmental impact.

We are committed to contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions associated with our operations and value chain.

Our ambition is to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

We will periodically review our targets and progress, strengthen our plans as scientific knowledge and best practices evolve, and remain transparent about our performance and the actions we take.

In the design of our scientific facilities and laboratory activities, we integrate principles aimed at limiting environmental impact, including:

energy-efficient and bioclimatic building design
optimisation of ventilation, heating and lighting systems to reduce energy consumption
integration of renewable energy solutions where feasible
selection of durable and low-emission materials for construction and interior installations
responsible management of water, resources and operational waste
design of technical infrastructures that favour long-term durability, maintenance efficiency and environmental performance

These principles are integrated from the earliest stages of the design of our research and laboratory facilities in order to combine scientific requirements, operational performance and environmental responsibility.

As our activities continue to grow, we will further strengthen these commitments and align our practices with evolving scientific standards and international sustainability frameworks.
